Ronnie Keith, D.O. FACOS
Dr. Keith is a native Oklahoman, graduating from Moore High School and obtaining a B.S. in Pharmacy from Southwestern Oklahoma State University at Weatherford, OK. Medical School was completed at Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Tulsa, OK. After finishing General Surgery Residency in St. Louis, MO practice was started in the South Oklahoma City-Moore area and the practice was relocated to Norman in 2000.
In addition to general surgery, Dr. Keith has a special interest in weight loss surgery and is the founder of Oklahoma Weight Loss Options (a full service program certified as a “Center of Excellence” by the American Society of Bariatric Surgery, asbs.org) He also serves as Director of the Bariatric Service Program at Norman Regional Hospital.

Lana Nelson, D.O.
Dr. Nelson joined OKlahoma WEIGHT LOSS OPtions in August 2005. Originally a native of Bixby,
Oklahoma, Dr. Nelson attended medical school at Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic
Medicine in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She then ventured to Ohio University Doctors Hospital in Columbus,
Ohio where she completed her training in general surgery. Dr. Nelson joined us from the University
of South Florida in Tampa where she completed her fellowship training in laparoscopic and bariatric
surgery. During her fellowship, she gained experience in all aspects of bariatric surgery. In addition,
she participates in research related to obesity and surgical treatment of obesity which has been
published in national medical journals. In her free time, Dr. Nelson enjoys reading, scrapbooking,
and playing Scrabble®.
